I've always had a passion for Photography and started taking photos while at camp in Vermont when I was about 10 years old. I remember learning how to develop film and print photos in a little cabin dark room and was immediately hooked. That passion followed me through many photography classes in high school, college and beyond. My first job out of college was for a Professional Photographers association (PPA) and it helped expose me to a wide variety of portrait, wedding and fine art photography. After a few additional years (and jobs) of working in event planning and graphic design I've finally decided to do what I love the most - photographing people and telling their story through visual images.
I take inspiration from many of the places I've lived - born and raised in Boston, college in Colorado with stints in Lugano, Switzerland, Atlanta and Martha's Vineyard. I prefer to use natural light, like to get creative and always want your personality to shine in photos. Apart from taking pictures I couldn't live without live music, drinking wine, yoga, running, traveling and watching my kids grow. My husband and I have lived in Charleston for the last decade and are raising our two little ones here in the South.
